The lighter side of teaching

teaching is not such a hard job all the time. It has its lighter moments too.
I am looking forward to teachers sharing any funny thing that has happened in their classroom or anywhere in the school on this blog.

It was the first year of my teaching career when a student interrupted the lesson and asked me " Teacher, Can I go to washroom?" and I said, "What for??????????"

I have just read the comments. Everyone feels this blog is a great idea. But everyone, aside from Humaira, has to think about the lighter side of teaching and come back to write an experience!
Does that not tell a story by itself?

I remember at the last BAC in Lahore, all the older members of BSS had to relate a funny experience. What was funny was that there was not one story that was about children at school or anything to do with a classroom scenario!!!

How far back do we have to delve back in our minds to find a funny story? Shall I conclude from this that if ever they do happen, they are so few & far between that it takes a great deal of effort to recall them?

Don't give up though. I am sure the contributions on this blog will help make us all happier teachers.
